This Seller/Business Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between MzDeal ("we", "our", "us") and the Seller/Business ("you", "your"), governing your use of the MzDeal platform to list, promote, and sell goods or services. By registering as a seller, using any seller tools, or posting any listings, you agree to comply with this Agreement.
Platform – Refers to the MzDeal website, mobile application, and all related services.
Seller/Business – Any individual or company creating listings or selling products via MzDeal.
Buyer – Any user that purchases items or services through MzDeal.
Listing – Any item or service posted by a Seller on the Platform.
Transaction – Any sale or payment process conducted through the Platform.
To operate as a Seller on MzDeal, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have the legal authority to sell items commercially.
Provide accurate identity and business information.
Comply with Mozambican commercial, consumer, and digital marketplace laws.
Not be previously suspended or banned from MzDeal.
Sellers may be required to undergo identity verification, business verification, or provide additional documentation.
MzDeal may request KYC/AML verification where required by financial regulations.
Failure to provide requested documentation may result in account limitation or termination.
Sellers may list goods allowed under Mozambican law and MzDeal policy.
Sellers may NOT list:
Weapons, ammunition, explosives.
Drugs, controlled substances, or pharmaceutical items requiring prescription.
Illegal, stolen, or counterfeit goods.
Items violating copyright or trademark laws.
Adult content or explicit materials.
Hazardous materials.
MzDeal reserves the right to remove or restrict any listings at its discretion.
Sellers must:
Provide truthful, clear, and complete product descriptions.
Use real images of the item (unless using official product images allowed by brand law).
State correct pricing, stock availability, and specifications.
Sellers are fully responsible for:
Ensuring item quality.
Delivering products as advertised.
Meeting delivery timelines.
Handling warranty or after-sale obligations.
You agree to comply with:
All Mozambican commercial laws.
Consumer protection regulations.
Tax obligations (including VAT where applicable).
MzDeal policies and safety standards.
Sellers may NOT:
Conduct off‑platform deals or redirect users away from MzDeal.
Harass buyers or engage in abusive behavior.
Manipulate ratings, reviews, or platform algorithms.
Post misleading, fraudulent, or inappropriate listings.
Abuse promotions or subscription services.
Attempt to bypass MzDeal payment systems.
Off‑platform transactions void any protection, and MzDeal assumes zero responsibility for disputes arising outside the Platform.
All payments must be processed through MzDeal’s official payment systems.
Sellers are prohibited from requesting direct payment (e.g., m-pesa direct, bank transfer, cash) unless explicitly allowed.
Seller earnings will appear in the Seller Wallet.
Withdrawals may require identity verification and are subject to processing timelines.
MzDeal may deduct fees, refunds, chargebacks, or penalties before releasing payouts.
Sellers agree to pay applicable fees, including:
Listing fees (if applicable).
Subscription fees.
Transaction fees.
Promotional package fees (e.g., highlight, boost).
Fees may be updated with prior notice.
Sellers must:
Handle buyer claims professionally.
Accept returns where required by consumer law.
Resolve disputes in good faith.
MzDeal may:
Mediate disputes.
Hold payments.
Issue refunds to buyers where clear evidence of seller fault exists.
Sellers acknowledge that subscriptions, promotional packages, boosts, and credits purchased inside MzDeal are non‑refundable.
Sellers must:
Communicate expected delivery times.
Provide tracking information when available.
Notify the buyer of shipping delays.
Not falsify delivery information.
Failure to deliver items may result in:
Refunds to buyers.
Account penalties.
Suspension or permanent ban.
Buyers may leave reviews about the seller and products.
Sellers may not manipulate or request deletion of negative reviews unless false.
MzDeal may remove abusive or fraudulent reviews.
Sellers must ensure their products and listings:
Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, or brand rights.
Do not use stolen images or logos.
Violations may lead to immediate account removal.
Sellers are solely responsible for:
Calculating and paying taxes on their sales.
Complying with Mozambique VAT rules (when applicable).
Keeping business records.
MzDeal does not provide tax advice or reporting services.
MzDeal may suspend or terminate a seller account for:
Policy violations.
Fraudulent activity.
Excessive disputes or complaints.
Late deliveries or failure to fulfill orders.
Illegal activity.
Funds may be withheld until investigations are complete.
MzDeal is not responsible for:
Off-platform transactions.
Losses caused by seller mistakes.
Delivery delays caused by sellers.
Damaged or low-quality products sold by sellers.
Buyer disputes originating from inaccurate listings.
Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.
MzDeal reserves the right to update this Agreement at any time. Sellers will be notified of significant changes.
Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Mozambique, including:
Consumer Protection Act
Electronic Transactions Regulations
Commercial and Contract Law
Any disputes shall be resolved under Mozambican jurisdiction.
